We have an immediate need for a Senior Human Resources Coordinator to join our team.  In this role, you will be a cornerstone our HR department – someone who takes pride in delivering an exceptional employee experience while keeping our people operations running smoothly.    

What You Will Do:

• Serve as the first point of employee contact for HR matters, such as benefits, on-boarding, time and attendance, and other employee inquiries.
• Respond to employee queries with professionalism and care, turning routine HR interactions into positive experiences.

• Enter and maintain employee records through the employee life cycle in the HRIS system (Workday) and the Benefit Administrator portal. Audit HR systems regularly to ensure data integrity.
• Generate employee-related paperwork (employment verification, transfers, notifications etc.).
• Develop and maintain standard processes and/or checklists; streamline as needed to identify efficiencies.
• Maintain records, personnel files and tracking systems; support report requests as required.
• Assist with weekly hours balancing relating to payroll processing.
• Support new hire documentation with the employee on-boarding process.
• Provide day-to-day administration and contribute to broader HR initiatives.
   

Qualifications You Must Have:

• 1-2 years’ experience as an HR Administrator, HR Assistant or HR Coordinator in a fast-paced work environment
• Post-secondary diploma or degree in Human Resources or Business Administration
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Strong record keeping and organizational skills, with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities to meet deadlines

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Experience with Workday or similar HRIS platform
• Some payroll processing experience
• CHRP designation (or actively working towards it)

This position involves technologies regulated by the Canadian government’s Controlled Goods Program and the Contract Security Program. The salary range for this role is 54,000 CAD - 93,150 CAD . The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. RTX offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical and dental coverage, disability benefits, a retirement savings program, and tuition assistance through RTX’s Employee Scholar Program. Eligibility for specific benefits is based on factors such as position level, employment type (e.g., temporary or permanent), and business unit, and will be discussed during the hiring process. Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
