HR Business Partner – Arcosa Wind Towers

We are looking for a strategic, hands-on HR Business Partner (HRBP) to support our wind tower manufacturing operations across multiple plants. You will be a true business partner, directly influencing talent, culture, and operational performance.
What This Role Is Really Like
- You’ll spend time in plants, partnering with leaders in a fast-paced, industrial environment
- You’ll move between big-picture thinking and real-time problem solving
- Priorities will shift—you’ll need to be comfortable stepping in wherever the business needs you
- Some days will be strategic; others will require you to roll up your sleeves and handle urgent, tactical needs
What You’ll Do
Strategic Partnership
- Partner with plant/BU leaders to develop and execute HR strategies aligned to business goals
- Support workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational objectives
- Use data and insights to influence decisions on retention, engagement, and performance
Talent & Leadership Development
- Drive end-to-end talent processes including recruiting strategy, onboarding, and retention
- Support talent reviews and development planning; participate in leader meetings, create robust employee development plans, and partner with leaders to ensure talent readiness
- Serve as a key partner in building leadership capability through training and coaching (Arcosa Leadership University)
Employee Relations & Culture
- Provide guidance on employee relations, investigations, and policy interpretation
- Help leaders navigate complex workforce challenges with confidence and consistency
- Support efforts to strengthen culture, engagement, and communication across sites
Operational Responsibilities
- Step in where needed—this role requires a flexible, “utility player” mindset
- Support HR operations including reporting, audits, compliance, and HR systems
- Lead or contribute to HR projects (e.g., stay interviews, retention, training deployment)
- Partner across sites, traveling up to ~30% to support plant needs
What We’re Looking For
- 5–7+ years of HR experience, ideally supporting manufacturing or industrial environments
- Proven ability to influence leaders and build credibility in an operations setting
- Strong business acumen with the ability to connect HR strategies to business outcomes
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and shifting priorities with confidence
- Experience with employee relations, talent management, and workforce planning
- Strong communication, presentation, and analytical skills
- Committed to your development and open to being mentored
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
