Position Overview
We are seeking an HR Business Partner (HRBP) to join our team and support plant and functional leaders with day-to-day HR needs and talent strategies aligned with business priorities. Reporting to the Director, HRBP, this role focuses on employee relations, leader support, and the execution of HR programs while contributing to broader HR initiatives.
The role requires a hands-on, relationship-oriented HR professional with strong employee relations and coaching skills and the ability to build trust with supervisors and front-line leadership. The HRBP will help leaders navigate employee and performance matters, support workforce needs, and ensure consistent application of HR policies and practices in a fast-paced, operational environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support plant and functional leaders with day-to-day HR needs, including employee relations, performance management, and team effectiveness.
- Build strong working relationships with supervisors and front-line leadership to understand and support their HR needs.
- Handle routine and moderately complex employee relations matters, conduct investigations, and recommend appropriate actions.
- Ensure consistent application of company policies, practices, and procedures.
- Support performance management processes by coaching leaders on feedback, documentation, corrective actions, and performance improvement plans.
- Assist leaders with employee development planning and addressing performance concerns.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition and Talent & Organizational Development (T&OD) to support hiring, onboarding, and training.
- Support workforce planning efforts and staffing alignment based on business needs.
- Implement enterprise HR programs related to engagement, performance, training, and other HR initiatives.
- Support change management and communication efforts within assigned areas.
- Track and analyze basic HR metrics and escalate trends and concerns to the Sr. HRBP.
- Maintain accurate employee relations documentation, HR records, and reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; HR certification preferred.
- 3–7 years of HR experience in a generalist or HRBP capacity.
- Strong employee relations and coaching skills.
- Proven ability to build trust and establish effective working relationships with supervisors, front-line leaders, and employees.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle confidential employee information and sensitive situations appropriately.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, operational environment.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a business partner or generalist capacity
- Ability to build trust and influence across multiple organizational levels
- Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive clarity in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Bilingual English and Spanish proficiency
- Master's degree
- HR certification such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR
