Position Scope
The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) is a strategic partner to the business that will translate business priorities into effective people strategies. The incumbent will serve as a trusted advisor to executive team members and will provide guidance across organizational designs, talent planning, performance, engagement, leadership development and change management. The ideal candidate will combine strong business judgement, HR expertise, and a practical understanding of how technology companies scale and grow. This role is well-suited to someone who can move comfortably between strategic planning, day-to-day execution, tactical work, and moving with purpose in a fast-paced, changing environment.
Location: Hybrid - 3 days per week onsite in Addison, Texas
Reports to: Chief HR Officer
Primary Responsibilities
- Build trusted relationships with leaders across the business teams.
- Develop a strong understanding of Emburse’s strategic business plan, operating model, and leadership strengths and challenges.
- Translated business priorities into practical people plans that support growth, productivity, and organizational health.
- Translate workforce data and business insights to identify trends, anticipate talent needs, and recommend actions to leadership.
- Partner with the HR Centers of Excellence include compensation, benefits, learning and development, talent acquisitions, and HR operations to drive business value, enhance employee engagement, and drive performance.
- Partner with key leaders to action organizational design including role clarity, managing spans and layers, drive workforce planning, and team effectiveness.
- Activate annual business process including year-end performance reviews, annual compensation reviews, promotion review and assessment, and talent assessments.
- Represent the needs of functional teams in the design and architecture of company-wide people programs.
- Focus on an AI-forward HR business strategy and look for opportunities to scale and optimize the business.
- Become the trusted advisor to key leaders in the business and be able to provide unbiased and direct feedback that support their ability to maximize the performance of our people and the business.
Requirements & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- Six to eight years of progressive HR experience including meaningful experience as an HR Business Partner.
- Experience supporting multiple functions in a SaaS, technology, or consulting related company with high growth expectations.
- Prior experience working for a Private Equity-backed company preferred.
- Experience utilizing AI to enhance productivity and automate day-to-day work in HR.
- Experience driving organization design, workforce management, talent management, and performance management actions.
- Ability to use qualitative and quantitate information to diagnose issues and recommend practical solutions.
- Business and financial acumen with an understanding of financial metrics and how they relate to a business.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and prioritize work that matters.
- Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner both verbally and in writing and email.

Skills Required
