We are hiring for an HR Business Partner at Worldwide Golf HQ! This is a full-time position that is 100% onsite M-F in Santa Ana, CA.

Position Overview:
As the HR Business Partner, you will serve as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for all employee relations matters across corporate, retail, and warehouse environments. You will own and execute key HR initiatives spanning employee relations, performance management, leave administration, talent acquisition, employee training, and compliance. This is a high-impact role that supports leaders and employees across multiple states and departments. You will report directly to our Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) and be the primary supervisor for the HR Generalist (West Region) and Office Administrator.

 

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and resolve all employee relations issues, investigations, and conflict resolution across corporate, store, and warehouse teams.
  • Primary partner to store, brand and distribution leadership in the West Region  to align HR initiatives with business goals, workforce planning and talent.
  • Collaborate with CHRO and other leadership to align HR strategies with business goals and support workforce planning initiatives.
  • Oversee performance management programs including coaching, corrective action, and terminations in accordance with company policy and employment law.
  • Support Director of Talent Acquisition with end-to-end talent acquisition efforts across all business units (retail, warehouse, corporate), from job posting through onboarding.
  • Ensure HR practices are compliant with federal, state, and local employment laws across multiple states.
  • Assist in administering employee benefits, open enrollment, and responding to benefit-related inquiries.
  • Contribute to broader HR projects and initiatives including policy & handbook updates, training programs, and employee engagement.
  • Analyze HR metrics (turnover, engagement, absenteeism, etc.) to identify trends and influence decision-making.
  • Oversee the HR Generalist to manage leave of absence processes, including FMLA, ADA, and other applicable leaves, in coordination with third-party administrators.

Qualifications Desired:

  • 5+ years of experience as an HR Business Partner, HR Manager, or similar HR leadership role is required (7+ years is preferred)
  • Experience in a multi-location or distributed workforce environment (retail, hospitality, logistics, or adjacent industries strongly preferred).
  • Strong understanding of employee relations and employment law across multiple states is required.
  • Demonstrated experience with leaves, investigations, performance management, and talent acquisition.
  • Familiarity with HRIS and ATS systems; Paycom experience is a plus.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative and proactive approach.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred; HR certification (ex. PHR/SPHR, SHRM-CP/SCP) is a plus.
  • Ability to work a full-time schedule (~40 hours per week) fully in-office five days per week (M-F) is required.

*The pay range for this position is $110,000 - $130,000 per year. Individual starting rate within this range may depend on experience, expertise, and education/training.

Skills Required
