Human Resources Business Partner Senior Director, Data Technology & Engineering
Job Description
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Strategic HR Partner: Serve as the primary HR partner to the CDIO and DTE leadership team, translating strategy into prioritized people and organizational initiatives and influencing executive decisions with data-driven insights.
- Transformation Leadership: Lead large-scale change initiatives to embed and evolve the Data/Technology/AI operating model, ensuring effective adoption of new governance, decision rights, and ways of working.
- Organizational Design & Effectiveness: Act as the architect for organizational design, optimizing structures, spans/layers, and operating mechanisms to improve speed, clarity, and accountability.
- Talent Strategy Ownership: Define and drive enterprise-wide talent strategies for DTE capabilities, including role architecture, skill frameworks, development pathways, and succession planning.
- Strategic Workforce Planning: Develop strategies to attract, develop, and retain high-impact technical and leadership talent, leveraging build/buy/borrow approaches, internal mobility, and reskilling initiatives.
- Executive Coaching & Leadership Development: Coach senior leaders and leadership teams to strengthen performance, decision quality, and alignment, while leading robust talent reviews and succession processes.
- Culture & Engagement Leadership: Champion a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning, reinforcing organizational health, inclusion, and sustainable high performance.
- AI & Analytics-Driven HR: Leverage analytics and AI to generate actionable talent insights, measure impact of HR strategies, and enhance decision-making, productivity, and outcomes.
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
- 12+ years of progressive HR experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience), including significant partnership with senior leaders in complex, technology-enabled organizations
- Demonstrated experience supporting Data, Technology, Engineering, Product, AI/Analytics, or similarly technical organizations
- Proven success designing and implementing enterprise-level HR strategies and transformation initiatives
- Deep expertise in organizational effectiveness, change leadership, and organization design
- Strong understanding of Data/Technology/AI operating models and workforce implications of AI-driven transformation
- Ability to leverage data, analytics, and AI to inform decisions and improve outcomes
- Exceptional business acumen with the ability to connect talent strategy to business performance (speed, quality, risk)
- Strong executive presence and influencing skills, with the ability to coach leaders through ambiguity and change
- Agile, forward-thinking mindset with the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable strategies
- Collaborative leadership style with high emotional intelligence, integrity, and resilience
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, complex, and evolving environment

Pay Range:
$227,200 - $340,800Disclosure Statement:
The range provided is based on what we believe is a reasonable estimate for the base salary pay range for this job at the time of posting. This role is eligible for an annual bonus and annual equity awards. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay, in accordance with federal and state requirements. Actual base salary pay will be based on a number of factors, including skills, competencies, experience, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
