Job Summary:

Leads key human capital strategies for all areas of the enterprise and ensures business priorities are effectively aligned. Drives the execution of system-wide HR strategies and programs. Serves as HR’s strategic liaison to key customers across the enterprise and deliver tailored solutions that address specific human capital needs of individual institutes and departments.

Job Duties:

  • Collaborate with business leaders to execute people solutions including HR strategy, annual people planning and service delivery.
  • Serve as a strategic, proactive HR partner while understanding respective areas’ business goals and objectives.
  • Build business acumen in order to accelerate strategy execution.
  • Drive organizational redesign projects in collaboration with department leaders.
  • Supports organizational effectiveness by consulting with leaders to identify challenges and delivering solutions and/or engaging with other parties within HR to provide necessary expertise.
  • Translate business strategy into a defined Talent Strategy and individualized goals to align with broader enterprise needs.
  • Oversee talent delivery and outcomes, review results with the business and co-develop future workforce plans that achieve business targets.
  • Identify potential challenges and collaborate with HR leaders to develop and implement action plans.
  • Analyze data and provide summary of observations for a wide variety of management and decision- making uses, including identifying trends and/or gaps in the data.
  • Implement new HR programs and priorities.
  • Partner with departments to address and facilitate issues of group dynamics and resulting impacts on the organization.
  • Identify appropriate interventions to improve group dynamics or individual behavior toward improved employee engagement.
  • Proactively identify, explore and evaluate complex HR issues that require thorough analysis, creative problem solving and presentation of various approaches to address issues.
  • Work collaboratively with HR Directors and HR Centers of Excellence sharing and providing knowledge of supported businesses, in order to develop HR solutions, programs and services that will further increase business effectiveness and productivity.
  • In partnership with other HR partners, play a key role in planning for organizational change, succession planning, job redesign, layoff planning and submissions, case management for layoffs, etc.
  • Partner with Diversity and Inclusion and other leaders to develop and implement diversity initiatives for clients, including staff development and training and other diversity issues.
  • Participate in continuous learning and specialized training in key HR functional areas to enhance professional knowledge and skill.
  • Cultivate current best practices, incorporate and utilize when partnering with the business.
  • Mentor and collaborate with appropriate HR Partners and Coordinators to provide strategic support to all levels of leadership.
