Sodexo Energy & Resources are looking for an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to join our team in Perth, supporting our West Australian (WA) sites in the Pilbara, WA.
Reporting to the Senior Human Resources Business Partner, the successful candidate will be responsible for partnering strategically to drive improvements with our stakeholders and Operators as well as understanding the key HR levers of business performance of the assigned portfolio and support operational leaders drive improvement through considered HR initiatives, that align with segment and country people strategies.
About the job
Your job will include but is not limited to:
- Work with the Energy & Resources (E&R) leadership team to ensure the business performance, advice and support provided meets business objectives through strong HR leadership
- Manage the delivery of process improvement activities across allocated E&R sites to ensure that Sodexo’s KPIs and SLA standards and contractual obligations are fully achieved
- Ensuring comprehensive understanding and compliance of all applicable industrial instruments and relevant industry landscape.
- Conduct workplace investigations and manage the Company’s response to any grievances
- Work with the leadership team to support talent and performance management processes
- Champion the consistent application of all HR policies and procedures
- Support and manage the successful implementation of performance appraisals, career management, High-Potential management, and succession planning
- Provide Segment specific training needs inputs to support the L&D strategy
- Provide support, coaching and guidance to the management team to ensure all disciplinary activity is carried out in accordance with legislative due process.
- Project Manage the People activities relating to mobilisations and demobilisations in collaboration with the People Centre, Transversal (Corporate) functions and Operations
- Be a true driver and advocate of Employee Engagement. This includes both process support and advocacy of the Sodexo Engagement process and devising and implementing local engagement improvement activities
- Support the development of wider business goals by leveraging D&I pillars and incorporating it into operations.
- Support change management programs and initiatives within the business and influence key stakeholders

- Relevant HR tertiary qualifications, technical skills & knowledge across range of HR disciplines – i.e., organisational development, D&I, employment law, industrial relations, management of L&D and capability building programs
- In depth understanding of employee engagement drivers and improvement methodologies
- Experience in conducting workplace investigations
- A considered approach to change management and a willingness to work in a solution orientated mind set is required
