This is a strategic, hands-on role operating across multiple countries and complex regulatory environments. The position plays a key role in supporting the continued scaling of the European Industrials organization and advancing growth and transformation priorities, while aligning global HR strategy with regional business needs and local requirements.
The HR Business Partner acts as a trusted advisor to leaders, leading workforce and organizational initiatives and ensuring consistent, disciplined HR execution across the segment. This role operates within a broader regional HR structure across Europe and partners closely with in-region HR COE teams and Legal to deliver integrated HR solutions.
General Responsibilities
• Provides advice on issues, including but not limited to; benefits, payroll, and general policy and procedures
• Provides advice to departmental managers to assess employment needs, and participate in recruiting efforts to identify, interview, hire and train qualified candidates
• Organize and update organization charts, employee files, employee information and locate/distribute any documents as needed
• Participates in developing department goals, objectives and systems
• Identify and be involved in the creation and implementation of updated processes, and make any recommendations to the company based on findings
• Keeps abreast with employment, state, federal and local regulations and communicates impact to HR management
Experience / Qualifications
• A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
• Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
• Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
• Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity
• Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)

Additional Job Details:
- Partner with HR COEs and Legal to lead complex employee relations and compliance matters across Europe
- Partner with HR COEs to drive centralization and standardization of HR processes, transitioning locally managed activities into scalable regional models
- Support organizational design and capability-building aligned to growth and transformation priorities
- Operate effectively within a matrixed, multi-country environment, influencing senior stakeholders and driving alignment
Additional Requirements:
- Fluency in English and French required
- Preferred Locations: Frankfurt, Stuttgart, Freiburg, Munich or other southwest Germany location
- Deep experience operating within complex European labor environments, including Works Councils (notably France)
- Proven track record supporting organizational change and transformation initiatives
- High degree of autonomy and ownership
- Ability to travel ~20%
Base Salary Range:
70,400.00 EUR - 96,690.00 EURThe salary range is published in line with the EU Pay Transparency Directive and relevant country legislation.
