Position Summary
The Human Resources Business Partner partners with designated division(s)/line(s) of business and HR teams to support alignment with The Busey Way and the Associate Handbook, policies and procedures. The level I business partner provides foundational support to the HR Business Partner team by delivering data driven insights and managing routine associate relations matters and processes. This position plays a critical role in executing recurring HR processes, identifying trends through analysis, and ensuring a consistent associate experience.Duties & Responsibilities- Build and maintain strong partnerships with Busey managers, serving as first point of contact to inquiries made via the shared performance management email inbox.
- Support associate policy and procedural questions, referring them to the subject matter expert when necessary.
- Support and/or schedule meetings with HRBP and respective business units that build strong partnerships across.
- Handle routine associate relations incidents, conflict management, progressive discipline, development and coaching needs, separation process, compensation and organizational development; escalate more complex issues when necessary.
- Provide business unit onboarding support for new Busey managers when necessary.
- Collect, analyze, and report on routine associate metrics such as Onboarding/Exit Survey Data, Engagement Survey Data, Performance cycle/trends, Position Management.
- Generate routine reports and dashboards to support independent action and/or inform HRBP decision-making or discussions.
- Identify patterns and trends, providing actionable insights to the HRBP team and/or managers
- Manage Routine Functions Associated with Company-wide HRBP Initiatives + Communication including but not limited to:
- Gallup Engagement Survey
- Talent Roundtables/9 Grid Performance and Potential Assessments
- Job Description System/Content Management + Content sync into HRIS
- Flexible Work Arrangements
- Follow established performance management protocol related to routine verifications/audit findings.

Education and Training:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
- Requires 1-2 years of experience as an HR Generalist, HRBP, or similar role in a service-oriented environment; banking experience preferred
- Experience with HR data analysis and HRIS systems (Workday preferred)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary offered is based on factors, including but not limited to, the job duties, required qualifications and relevant experience, and local market trends. The role may be eligible for bonus or incentives based on company and individual performance.
(Base Pay Range: $26.70 - $34.70/hr)
