The Bonadio Group is seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) in our Dallas, Texas office, to serve as a strategic advisor to Service Line leadership. As an embedded member of the leadership team, the HRBP partners with Partners, Principals, and business leaders to align people strategies with business objectives and drive organizational performance.

The successful candidate will develop a deep understanding of the firm's business model, workforce challenges, and growth objectives while providing expert guidance on talent strategy, performance management, workforce planning, employee relations, leadership development, and organizational effectiveness. This role requires a trusted advisor who can influence decision-making, navigate complex people matters, and help leaders build high-performing teams.

The HRBP plays a critical role in supporting Bonadio's continued growth by balancing business needs, employee experience, and risk management while embodying the Firm's PROMISE values.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to Service Line Leaders, Partners, Principals, and management teams on all people-related matters.
  • Develop a strong understanding of business priorities and proactively align workforce strategies to support short- and long-term organizational objectives.
  • Lead workforce planning discussions, including succession planning, organizational design, talent assessment, and leadership development initiatives.
  • Provide expert guidance on employee relations matters, performance management, disciplinary actions, conflict resolution, and risk mitigation.
  • Coach leaders on effectively managing performance, engagement, career development, and organizational change.
  • Partner with business leaders to identify talent gaps and develop strategies that strengthen employee retention, internal mobility, and leadership pipelines.
  • Analyze workforce data and trends to identify organizational risks and opportunities and recommend business-focused solutions.
  • Drive implementation of firm-wide HR initiatives while ensuring alignment with Service Line objectives and culture.
  • Support organizational growth initiatives, including mergers, acquisitions, integrations, and restructuring activities.
  • Partner with Talent Management, Benefits & Rewards, HR Operations, and other HR Centers of Excellence to deliver comprehensive people solutions.
  • Facilitate talent review, succession planning, performance calibration, and development planning processes.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, engagement, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
  • Act as a change leader by helping leaders successfully navigate organizational change and workforce transformation initiatives.
  • Maintain expertise in employment law and regulatory compliance to ensure sound and consistent decision-making.
  • Build strong relationships across all levels of the organization to influence outcomes and drive business results through people.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, including significant experience as an HR Business Partner or strategic HR advisor.
  • Demonstrated success resolving complex employee relations matters and providing coaching to senior leaders.
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Experience supporting workforce planning, talent management, succession planning, and organizational change initiatives.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to connect people strategies to operational and financial outcomes.
  • Excellent consulting, influencing, facilitation, coaching, and communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage competing priorities in a fast-paced professional services environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to use workforce data and analytics to drive informed decision-making.
  • Willingness and ability to travel as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
  • SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or comparable HR certification.
  • Experience supporting professional services, public accounting, consulting, legal, financial services, or similar knowledge-based organizations.
  • Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, integrations, and organizational transformation initiatives.
  • Experience coaching executive and senior-level leaders.
Hours of Operation:
  • Our office hours are from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday
  • Our summer hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, with Flex Friday scheduling available in accordance with firm policy and business needs
  • We pride ourselves on our flexibility; however the ability to work additional hours will be needed at peak times
