Furthering the Human Resources (HR) mission of enabling strategy, shaping behaviors and driving results, the Human Resources Manager solves complex organizational challenges through people-related solutions, partners with site leaders to ensure that programs and systems are in place to hire, retain, develop and maximize talent.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Uses HR knowledge to provide support to both leaders and associates through organizational development, performance & talent management, leadership development, coaching and advising.
  • Supports and guides leaders to ensure full compliance of HR laws and regulations, reducing risk to the company. 
  • Conducts fair and impartial investigations into any claim or dispute and offer possible resolutions. Prepares all written supporting documentation and is prepared to attend any required hearings or dispute meetings as a CCS representative.
  • Uses expertise in employee relations to solve problems, negotiate, and find best possible outcomes. 
  • Prepares accurate accountings in the form of written documentation of all employee relations issues/exchanges between associates, management, and HR.
  • Applies HR administration skills in areas, such as pay, leave management, policy creation and execution.
  • Provides people data to leaders to facilitate decision making.
  • Provides honest and open communication to facilitate understanding and collaboration.
  • May assist in the on-boarding process and company training sessions, as well as, follows up with new hires to ensure seamless transition into the organization.
  • Ensures timely and accurate processing of associate data and documents including employment contracts, associate change memos, leave records, payroll updates, HR system updates and policies/procedures updates.
  • Assists in development and implementation of HR policies.
  • Maintains accurate associate files and records in electronic and paper form.
  • Consults with other members of HR on issues outside the scope of regular day-to-day issues.
  • Prepares and supports Associate Appreciation events within approved budget. 
  • Understands the importance of company culture on associate performance and engagement and actively builds organizational culture that supports the needs and goals of the organization.
  • Uses HR expertise in change management to prepare the organization, leaders, and associates for change and to propel leaders to create and capitalize on opportunities.
  • Influences leaders, peers and associates to make more effective decisions based on particular insight.
  • Analyzes data to create insights, make sound decisions and facilitate organizational change. 

 

 
 
QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS
  • 5+ years of directly related HR experience.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment related laws and regulations.
  • Must be fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills.
  • Proficient organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient computer skills including experience with HRIS platforms.  
  • Experience with talent acquisition, organizational development, performance management, employee relations, and HR systems.
  • High standards of ethics and confidentiality.
  • Receptive to Coaching: Being receptive to feedback, willing to learn, embracing continuous improvement and is receptive and responsive to change.
  • Ability to work independently, be self-motivating, and prioritize tasks or projects to meet expected deadlines.
  • Ability to maintain a predictable and consistent full-time work schedule.

 

EDUCATION
  • Bachelors Degree – Human Resources, Business, or directly related experience required.

 

TRAVEL

  • Occasional travel between facilities when needed for meeting purposes.
  • Travel to training seminars, conferences, etc.

 

Skills Required

  • 5+ years of directly related human resources experience
