As an emerging, high-growth, global, and dynamic organization, we recognize the impact our people make every day with our customers and partners. We are seeking a HR Business Partner Director to serve as the lead strategic architect for our global Technology organization.

In this executive-facing role, you will partner directly with our Chief Technology and Product Officer and globally distributed leadership team to shape and execute a unified, scale-ready talent strategy. You won’t just execute HR processes, you will lead with a clear perspective, using data and technical literacy to drive organizational design, talent strategy, and cultural evolution. Importantly, you will lead the people strategy through the AI transformation, reimagining structures, skill capabilities, and ways of working for the modern tech stack.

How You’ll Contribute:

  • Act as a strategic thought-partner to the Chief Technology and Product Officer and senior tech leaders, translating product roadmaps and tech strategies into a multi-year, data-driven talent strategy
  • Architect and evolve modern tech org structures (squads, pods, platform teams) while leading the talent strategy through AI transformation, mapping future capabilities, reshaping teams, and driving upskilling and a culture of AI-adoption
  • Coach and advise tech executives with a clear, data-backed point of view on organizational dynamics, leadership effectiveness, and team friction, while proactively mitigating risks to org health
  • Design and scale tech-tailored career frameworks, succession plans, and performance and compensation ecosystems that incentivize top talent and drive retention
  • Drive core people programs (engagement, complex employee relations, and performance management) that reinforce Xometry’s high-performance culture
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to build proactive, global talent pipelines, refine technical assessment strategies, and optimize distributed technology hubs (US, Germany, India)
  • Partner with regional HR teams to ensure global tech initiatives are seamlessly integrated, compliant, and culturally relevant across all engineering hubs

What You’ll Bring to Xometry:

  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5+ years as a dedicated HRBP supporting Product, Design, and Engineering organizations in high-growth, scaling technology companies
  • Demonstrated track record of guiding technical organizations through transformation, specifically driving structural, capability, and cultural changes related to AI adoption and automation
  • Proven capability in designing, implementing, and scaling complex tech organization structures (e.g., matrixed, distributed, product-led architectures) beyond standard process execution
  • Exceptional executive presence and data-backed influence, with a track record of translating complex insights to challenge, coach, and align C-suite leaders
  • Strong understanding of product development lifecycles, engineering practices, and technical talent dynamics (e.g., software engineers, product managers, UI/UX designers, data scientists)
  • High comfort level with fluid environments; demonstrated ability to bring clarity, structure, and forward movement to highly complex, multi-dimensional challenges
  • Experience managing dispersed technical talent across multiple geographies, time zones, and employment frameworks
  • Strong judgment in managing complex employee relations and organizational transitions with a focus on risk mitigation and cultural integrity
  • A Bachelor’s degree is required; Master’s degree, MBA or equivalent practical experience preferred
  • Ability to work onsite 3 days a week

The estimated base salary range for new hires into this role is $185,000-200,000 annually + bonus depending on factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, and location.
