Excel in your role as a Human Resources (HR) Business Advisor, providing pivotal HR insights for the Philippines Branch & Securities business. You will report to the HR Business Advisor Lead and partner with senior leaders to drive people agendas and HR policies.
As a Human Resources Business Advisor (HRBA), Vice President within the firm-wide HRBA organization-a Center of Excellence/Shared Service-you will oversee the HR function for the Philippines Branch & Securities. Partnering with the Senior Country Officer, you will advise on people agendas and HR policies, manage operational and regulatory risks, and act as a culture carrier, modeling our Code of Conduct and global HR principles. This role involves executing strategic priorities set by senior leaders and supporting managers in resolving HR-related matters. This role is pivotal in aligning HR strategies with business objectives to drive organizational success.
Job Responsibilities:
- Implement people agenda initiatives and provide day-to-day human capital advice.
- Ensure compliance with local laws, interact with regulators, and complete submissions.
- Advise leadership on organizational changes and institutionalize new structures.
- Support year-end compensation processes, guiding incentive and salary planning.
- Partner with leaders on performance management, succession planning, and hiring.
- Facilitate feedback processes and develop action plans from employee surveys.
- Provide development and coaching support to managers and emerging leaders.
- Offer project management support for HR initiatives and cross-LOB projects.
- Utilize MIS and reporting to analyze trends and drive metrics-driven decisions.
- Collaborate with HR colleagues to drive efficiencies and leverage best practices.
- Lead or participate in HR projects aligned with key HR priorities and drive diversity and inclusion initiatives.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Proven ability to interact with business leaders at all levels and influence employee-related decision-making.
- Project management abilities, including execution skills and end-to-end process improvement.
- Ability to utilize critical thinking and analytical skills to identify issues and trends, develop solutions, and address root causes.
- Strong relationship management skills and ability to navigate across the function and the firm.
- Exceptional communication skills; written and verbal, able to present and articulate ideas to the business and HR colleagues.
- Comfortable partnering with employee relations and HR legal on complex and often time-sensitive employee matters.
- Proficient and comfortable using technology, including the MS Office Suite.
- Ability to build cohesive partnerships with stakeholders and work effectively in a matrix organization.
- Demonstrated ability to foster a strong risk, control, and conduct mindset.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Human Resources experience preferred; Human Resource Business Advisor experience would be considered an asset.
- Familiarity with local labor laws and regulations.
- Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Experience in driving diversity and inclusion initiatives.
- Ability to lead change management efforts and drive organizational transformation.
