Human Resources Associate IIThe Human Resources Associate II provides administrative support to the Human Resources department with all employee related matters, inclusive of payroll and HRIS maintenance and processing activity.Assists department in carrying out various human resources programs and procedures
Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions
Maintains Human Resource Information System records and compiles reports from database to ensure integrity of systems
Reviews employee time records for discrepancies and works with supervisors and managers to update time records
Performs meal and rest break audits for California law compliance, processing penalty pay and tracking of progressive disciplinary actions
Conducts new employee orientations
Prepares new employee files and verifies I-9 documentation
Updates HRIS systems with employee change requests and processes paperwork
Assists with processing of terminations
Assists department with various research projects and/or special projects
Makes photocopies, faxes documents and performs other clerical functions
Assists or prepares department correspondence
Processes mail for the department including unemployment claims and verifications of employment
Performs other administrative duties as assigned
