Kleen Test Products is hiring a Human Resources Assistant with a focus on recruiting administration. This role supports key talent acquisition activities including candidate follow-up, interview scheduling, onboarding coordination, and helping move candidates through the hiring process from application to first day. We're seeking someone with strong administrative skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for providing a positive candidate experience. You'll be trusted with sensitive information, expected to maintain strict confidentiality, and serve as a professional ambassador for KTP throughout the hiring process.

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Port Washington, WI, with occasional travel to other KTP facilities in Ozaukee County.

What You'll Do

  • Support the Talent Acquisition Specialist with day-to-day recruiting and hiring activities.
  • Review incoming applications and assist with candidate communications.
  • Schedule interviews and coordinate calendars between candidates and hiring managers.
  • Conduct candidate follow-up throughout the recruitment process.
  • Assist with pre-employment requirements including background checks, drug screens, and employment documentation.
  • Coordinate new hire onboarding activities and ensure all required paperwork is completed accurately and on time.
  • Maintain applicant tracking system (ATS) records and hiring documentation.
  • Prepare offer letters and onboarding materials.
  • Support new hire orientation and first-day readiness.
  • Partner with hiring managers and HR team members to ensure a smooth and efficient hiring process.
  • Provide administrative support for other HR programs and initiatives as needed.
  • Respond to candidate and employee inquiries with professionalism, urgency, and a customer-service mindset.

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous administrative experience required; HR or recruiting support experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High level of professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with candidates, employees, and leaders at all levels.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems, HRIS systems, or onboarding processes is a plus.
