We are seeking an Human Resources Assistant in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan who is highly detail-oriented, has a positive attitude, and is self-motivated. The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
- Performing administrative duties such as maintaining the employee database
- Process, maintain, and assist in the onboarding of new employees
- Maintaining proper records of payroll and benefit related functions
- Managing the Applicant Tracking System process including online job postings, screening candidates and scheduling job interviews
- Assisting the Human Resources department with additional essential business functions
You Bring:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong email and telephone etiquette
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Prior administrative or HR experience
