- Provides administrative and recruiting support to the Human Resources department while gaining hands-on exposure to a broad range of HR functions. This position will support recruiting, new hire orientation, I-9 processing, background checks, drug screening, interview coordination, employee communications, and other HR administrative activities. The HR Assistant will work closely with members of the recruiting, HR Business Partner, benefits, and talent development teams and will have the opportunity to develop knowledge and experience across multiple areas of Human Resources.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the Human Resources department, with a primary focus on recruiting and new hire activities.
- Support the recruiting process by assisting with candidate sourcing, screening, phone outreach, interview coordination, and candidate communication.
- Assist with weekly new hire orientation, including completing and reviewing I-9 documentation and ensuring new hire paperwork is accurate and complete.
- Coordinate and maintain pre-employment background checks and drug screening processes, including timely data entry and follow-up.
- Provide administrative support to HR Business Partners and other HR team members, including assisting with HR activities at the manufacturing plants.
- Provide English/Spanish translation and interpretation support during orientations, trainings, employee meetings, and other HR-related activities.
- Assist the Benefits, Talent Development, and Recruiting teams with administrative tasks, projects, and department initiatives.
- Maintain accurate and confidential candidate and employee records and assist with HR reporting and data entry.
- Provide professional and responsive support to candidates, employees, managers, and visitors, directing questions to the appropriate HR team member when needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Company.

QualificationsQualifications:
- Associates/Bachelor’s degree in HR Management or related area or equivalent experience preferred.
- Recent graduates and candidates early in their HR careers are encouraged to apply.

- Previous manufacturing or HR experience is a plus but not required.
