POSITION PURPOSE
The primary purpose of the HR Administrator is to provide support to the Human Resources team under the direction of the HR Manager.
QualificationsESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Maintains employee personnel files. Ensures compliance with USCIS Form I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification; periodically audits Forms I-9. Performs HRIS data entry and personnel file maintenance Response to reference checks and verifications of employment status.
- Monitors tardy and absenteeism reports and ensures proper documentation is issued on employees who have excessive tardiness, absenteeism or other work rule violations.
- Responds to regularly occurring requests for information. Administers FMLA/STD process in a timely, efficient manner.
- Exceed attendance requirements

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
Required:
Intermediate level skill with MS Office Suite; specifically Word and Excel applications
Interpersonal Skills
Preferred:
Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) with an Associate’s Degree in any field, and/or 2 years experience in a clerical position (experience in Human Resources highly desired) OR a combination of 3-5 years education and experience.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/ WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
- Ability to sit for up to 8 hours in a day.
- May be required to stand for up to 2 hours per day.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs on occasion to move files or other supplies.
- Some duties may be performed in a refrigerated manufacturing environment (40 degrees or less).

- 2 years experience in a clerical position or combination of 3-5 years education and experience (preferred)
