Campers Inn RV is a family operated RV business and growing! We are seeking a Full Time Human Resource Generalist to join our team. The focus of this role will be supporting company wide Talent and Recruitment initiatives. A desire to learn and grow is a must in this role.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The HR Generalist performs a variety of duties in support of the Human Resources Department including ensuring compliance with new hire documents, providing information and assistance to applicants and new hires.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Assists the company in implementing and maintaining Human Resource activities for the talent acquisition and hiring process.
- Provides guidance to locations for HR department best practices
- Maintains confidentiality regarding personnel information
- Responds to employee and manager inquiries in timely manner
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Excellent interpersonal skills both verbal and written
- Demonstrates skills in writing and communication
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws, regulations and guidelines related to general HR
- Skill in preparing detailed reports
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to exercise considerable initiative and independent judgment
- Ability to maintain confidential information
- Attention to detail and ability to cope with several tasks and projects simultaneously
- Ability to meet deadlines
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- HR Certification such as SHRM, PHR, HRCI preferred
- Two or more years of experience in HR
MACHINES, TOOLS, EQUIPMENT AND SOFTWARE USED:
- Usual office equipment including computer, phone, copier and calculator
- MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- ADP Workforcenow preferred
- Company system applications
- Other software as applicable
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- This is a hybrid position
- Sedentary, works primarily in a climate-controlled environment
- Requires continuous visual ability for use of computer, files and reports
TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Ability to bend or sit for long periods of time. In addition, individuals must be able to reach above shoulders and lift a minimum of 20 pounds
