What You'll Do

As the Human Resources Coordinator, you'll support the employee lifecycle from recruiting through onboarding, employee engagement, and ongoing HR administration.

Recruiting & Talent Acquisition
  • Coordinate recruiting activities including job postings, candidate sourcing, interview scheduling, and applicant communication
  • Conduct initial phone screenings and partner with hiring managers throughout the hiring process
  • Maintain applicant tracking systems and recruiting records
  • Build relationships with trade schools, workforce development organizations, and recruiting partners
  • Support hiring events, career fairs, and employer branding initiatives
Onboarding & Employee Experience
  • Coordinate onboarding from offer acceptance through new hire orientation
  • Prepare onboarding materials and ensure a smooth first-day experience
  • Coordinate offboarding activities, exit documentation, and company asset recovery
  • Support a positive employee experience throughout the employment lifecycle
Employee Engagement & Internal Communications
  • Coordinate employee recognition programs, service anniversaries, birthdays, and appreciation initiatives
  • Assist with planning employee events, engagement activities, and company celebrations
  • Create employee newsletters, announcements, and HR communications
  • Support employer branding and HR-related social media initiatives
HR Administration
  • Serve as a first point of contact for employee questions regarding benefits, PTO, policies, onboarding, and HR programs
  • Maintain employee personnel files and HR records
  • Coordinate uniform ordering, inventory management, and clothing allowance administration
  • Track employee certifications, training records, licenses, EPA certifications, and NATE certifications
  • Support HR projects and process improvement initiatives
What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications
  • 1–3 years of experience in Human Resources, recruiting, talent acquisition, administrative support, customer service, or a related field
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Strong follow-through and ability to manage multiple priorities
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting recruiting and hiring processes
  • Experience using HRIS systems and applicant tracking systems (ATS)
  • Experience in HVAC, home services, construction, manufacturing, skilled trades, or other fast-paced operational environments
  • Interest in building a long-term career in Human Resources
  • SHRM membership or HR certification coursework is a plus
