The Role
Coordinates the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, exits, records, payroll inputs, benefits, performance management, training, engagement, and employee relations. Prepares HR reports and provides guidance on policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate recruitment, selection, onboarding, and employee exit processes. 
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation. 
  • Administer attendance, leave, payroll inputs, and employee benefits. 
  • Coordinate performance management activities, including appraisals and probation reviews. 
  • Identify training needs and coordinate employee learning and development programmes. 
  • Promote employee engagement, staff welfare, and organisational culture initiatives. 
  • Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and labour law compliance. 
  • Support disciplinary, grievance, and conflict resolution processes. 
  • Prepare monthly HR report
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and company policies. 
  • Assist in workforce planning, succession planning, and talent management initiatives. 
  • Support occupational health, safety, and employee wellbeing programmes. 
  • Perform any other duties assigned by Management. 

Requirements

Educational Qualification

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Professional certification or membership with the Chartered Institute of Human Resource Management (CIHRM), Ghana, or an equivalent professional body 
  • Master degree is an added advantage. 

Experience

  • Minimum of 3-5 years relevant experience in Human Resource Management. 
  • Experience in manufacturing, waste management, industrial operations, or a similar environment is an advantage. 

Knowledge

  • Good knowledge of Ghana Labour Act, 2003 (Act 651) and other relevant employment legislation. 
  • Understanding of HR best practices, recruitment, performance management, learning and development, and employee relations. 

Skills and Competencies

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. 
  • Strong organisational and time management skills. 
  • High level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. 
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. 
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
