Hub Training & Development Manager – APMEA

We are seeking a Hub Training and Development Manager for the APMEA region with a strong background in industrial environments. In this pivotal role, you will lead the implementation of training strategies across various functions within the HUB, ensuring alignment with business unit (BU) objectives. You will assess training needs, identify gaps, and collaborate with BU, Hub and functional teams to address them effectively.
This role may require travel within the HUB APMEA region, up to 25%.
Your responsibilities
- Strategy Development: Create and enhance the HUB Training Management strategy and systems to track, monitor, and measure the effectiveness of training programs in collaboration with the BU Training Team.
- Program Management: Oversee training, development, onboarding, and certification programs for leaders and the manufacturing workforce, focusing on new products, services, and essential skills such as value-based selling and project management. Identify & develop internal trainers for effective training delivery.
- Needs Assessments Conduct regular assessments to identify training needs within the HUB, maintaining accurate records of training activities and outcomes. Provide ongoing reports to the Hub Management on progress and impact.
- Training Material Development: Design and execute effective training materials using Adult Learning methodologies, ensuring trainers are equipped to deliver impactful sessions.
- Continuous Improvement: Evaluate current training solutions and recommend enhancements to optimize employee performance and development.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the BU Training Team and other functions, including global leadership and HR Business Partners, to ensure the effective implementation of training strategies.
- Organizational Capability: Drive accountability and increase employee engagement through the implementation of the ITM system.
- Program Guidance: Lead the regional implementation of global training initiatives.
Your background
- Bachelor’s degree with several years of experience in training leadership, program design, and learning and development.
- Strong industrial experience: familiarity with sales enablement, marketing and sales training is a plus.
- Proven leadership skills with a track record of driving continuous process improvements and aligning solutions with business needs. Practicing remote leadership is an advantage.
- Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic and matrixed environment.
- Knowledge of lean management systems and organizational transformation.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively; self-motivated and disciplined in meeting deadlines while effectively leading cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated success in continuous process improvement, positive leadership, and strategic planning.
- Fluent in English.
