ALX Africa, a non-profit organisation under the ALX Foundation, is dedicated to unlocking the potential of Africa's digital future. Formerly part of Sand Tech Holdings, we've embarked on an independent journey to provide world-class tech skills training and career acceleration programmes. ALX trains high-performing young talent in our various tech programs and fosters a thriving community that catalyzes transformative shared experiences among this talent. We offer both fully online programs as well as blended programs that combine online course content with in-person, on-site learning. This includes peer-to-peer support, in-person assignments, group work, technical mentorship, and events. This blended approach is expected to lead to better learning outcomes and stronger relationships among learners.

In this role, you will work closely with the Learning Community Experience team in 4 essential functions: Learner support, content creation, community moderation, & event management. As the Hub Operations Intern, you are joining the team part-time to help build and maintain a highly engaged and satisfied community that accelerates the career development of our participants. 

The Hub Operations Intern’s responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Learner Support: Provide a basic level of customer support to all learners.
• Content Creation: Developing engaging content for the fellows on and off social media. 
• Engagement: Creatively amplifying engagement prompts increasing participation on our community platform. 
• Event experience design: Supporting the Learning Community Experience team in rolling out program events. 
• Community moderation: Monitoring conversations held in participant channels and in-person ensuring that all engagements are in line with our community code of conduct.

• Strong relationship builder with excellent communication and writing skills.
• Great customer service & support skills.
• You embody our Chair values of Courage, Humility, Adventure, Initiative, and Resilience.
• Interpersonal skills: You can work well with others.
• Past experience participating in our programs (career catalyst, virtual assistant, financial planning programs, etc) is a plus.
• Innovativeness and creativity: You have a tendency to use your imagination to create or introduce something new or different in any situation.
• Humility and openness to feedback: You are always looking to learn and have an insatiable curiosity and hunger to grow.

This is a Full Time role based in Tunis, Tunisia (Monday to Friday). It requires a consistent in-person presence at the ALX hub and availability to support learners on-site and during events.
