Job Overview:
Seeking and experienced HSE Tech supports the implementation and maintenance of health, safety, and environmental programs and policies for Primoris Energy Services in Hubbard, TX, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and non-compliance issues.
* Assist in the development and delivery of safety training programs for employees and contractors.
* Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, preparing detailed reports and recommending corrective actions.
* Maintain accurate HSE records, including incident logs, training records, and inspection reports.
* Monitor compliance with federal, state, and local HSE regulations (e.g., OSHA, EPA).
* Assist in the preparation and review of Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) and other safety documentation.
* Support emergency response planning and drills.
* Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to promote a strong safety culture.
* Perform air sampling, noise monitoring, and other environmental assessments as required.
* Ensure proper use and maintenance of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Job Qualifications:
* High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field preferred.
* Minimum of 4 years of experience in an HSE role, preferably within the energy services or construction industry.
* OSHA 30-hour certification for Construction or General Industry preferred.
* Knowledge of federal, state, and local HSE regulations (e.g., OSHA, EPA).
* Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
* Ability to conduct effective safety training and toolbox talks.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Physical ability to perform site inspections and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
* Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
