Hire a skilled HSE professional for the Beaumont location.
ResponsibilitiesAssist in compliance reviews, general risk assessments and other safety assessments to support Health, Safety and Environmental management.
Maintain relevant HSE logs.
Maintain ISO 14001 and 45001 documentations.
Assist in the compliance of applicable laws and regulations.
Prepare applicable HSE reports a necessary.
Provide assistance and advice on HSE issues to make recommendations to facility management.
Participate in detailed incident investigations and promote incident prevention for the benefit of employees and visitors.
Assist in the development and presentation of relevant HSE training.
Observe HSE regulations, wears all required safety equipment, encourage safe working practices, corrects obvious hazards immediately or reports them to the proper personnel.
Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.
Manage environmental waste, wastewater, storm water, SARA reports, etc..
Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or certified training in HSE field preferred.
A minimum of 5+ years of HSE experience required.
Must have a working knowledge of OSHA, EPA and DOT regulations and industry standards (NFPA, ASME, ANSI, etc.) applicable to the manufacturing industry.
Experience with implementing and maintaining ISO 14001 and 45001 standards
Excellent oral and presentation skills required.
First aid, CPR and AED trainer preferred.
Good analysis and reporting skills required.
Strong organizational skills.
Strong computer skills
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft products
Spanish Bi-lingual preferred.
