The HSE Program Excellence Specialist will lead and coordinate a broad spectrum of work activity concurrently. They will be responsible for simplification of HSE tools, practices and programs to drive standard work and efficiency through continuous improvement.
This is a key enabling role requiring visionary thinking, strong project management skills, and ability to use data to drive decision to drive sustainable improvement while supporting other HSE activities as assigned to help build one successful HSE organization.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Ability to identify and ultimately lead projects throughout their life cycle.
- Lead continuous improvement and simplification projects to drive efficiency, standardisation and risk reduction.
- Able to support functional data management. Have strong analytical and critical thinking skills to use data to enable trend analysis helping optimise systems and processes as well as provide insight to performance.
- Drive innovation and excellence to deliver best in class HSE performance, using leading technologies and visual management.
- Lead critical learning sessions such as Global Read Across.
- Coach and mentor HSE community to deliver program excellence.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple issues with competing priorities.
- Remain current and/or develop competencies specific to work-scope.
What you need to bring to the role:
- Occupational Health and Safety degree or Project Management degree or technical equivalent from an accredited university/college.
- Fluent English and solid communications skills (verbal and written).
- Ability to work in a matrix environment, influence and motivate diverse teams to achieve a unified goal.
- Confidently able to facilitate and deliver a variety of HSE topics and/or presentations to a diverse audience.
- ISO certification experience, preferable in one or more of: 14001, 45001, 19011.
- Have demonstrated Lean competency.
- Additional language skills.
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
- Based in one of the hiring locations.
