About the role
AGL’s HSE team have a rare opportunity for an HSE Digital Systems Advisor.
With the flexibility to be based in Vic or NSW, you will make work safer and smarter by owning the digital systems that support HSE across AGL. You’ll be the primary specialist for our HSE digital platforms, improving how we use data and technology to keep people and sites safe.
What you’ll do:
- Provide day-to-day support for all HSE digital systems, including SAP Fiori HSE applications and cloud-based platforms.
- Lead system enhancements by defining business requirements, identifying improvement opportunities, and managing the enhancement backlog.
- Plan and coordinate testing activities, including user acceptance testing (UAT), and secure business sign-off for changes.
- Act as the HSE systems subject matter expert, representing HSE in workshops, projects and system‑related forums.
- Develop and maintain training materials, communications and change activities to support strong user adoption.
- Oversee governance and data integrity across HSE systems, working closely with HSE Reporting & Analytics, Technology, ERP teams and vendors.
What you’ll bring:
- Strong IT proficiency, particularly with Microsoft 365; experience with SAP/ERP systems and tools such as S/4HANA, Fiori. Experience with other relevant HSE systems such as Rapid, Cority or ChemAlert is an advantage.
- Experience across the software development lifecycle and in supporting or enhancing business systems, ideally 3–5 years in a similar role.
- Ability to translate business needs into clear system requirements and practical digital solutions.
- Experience with system management, including system configuration, user and role administration, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring compliance with organisational standards.
- Strong stakeholder, influencing and negotiation skills, with confidence working across diverse teams.
- Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills, with a focus on delivery in a changing environment.
- Experience developing and delivering system training, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to navigate challenging conversations constructively.
