We are currently seeking a HSE Administrator to join our dynamic and vibrant Projects Team based in Balcatta, in a full-time permanent capacity.  The HSE Administrator will provide support to the development of HSE strategy and programs in collaboration with relevant stakeholders to drive continuous improvement. The key focus for this role will be on the successful development and deployment of HSE improvement initiatives and programs to all levels within the IFMS Contract. Working closely with the HSE team, operations and our clients in a consultative manner is a key requirement of this role.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Monitor, review, and report on HSE Data Analytics.
  • Manage employee compliance
  • Administration of HSE systems
  • Responsible for team compliance
  • Support the development of the HSE programs and relevant implementation plans.
  • Manage the internal safety audit program and perform safety audits.
  • Provide safety support and information to management.
  • Schedule activities by actively engaging with operations and support functions in line with program requirements.
  • Ensure priorities are scheduled and planned with overview to applicable parties.
  • Prepare and distribute reports to relevant stakeholders.
  • Development of service solutions.
  • Support with the development of training packages.
  • Additional functional support as required

Requirements and experience required

  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyse data and regulatory changes to ensure compliance.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous in reviewing HSE records, data policies, and procedures.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to liaise with stakeholders internal and external.
  • Problem-Solving: Proactive in identifying and addressing HSE compliance related issues.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Suite, particularly Excel
  • Solid understanding of Australian HSE legislation, Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health, Environmental Science, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in safety standards and procedures, hazard identification, evaluation, and control, conducts needs analysis for team and modifies learning activities.
  • Proven experience with implementation of learning, training and development programs and initiatives with the use of varied learning/training methods in designing and developing methodologies/interventions.
  • A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to identify issues, propose effective solutions, and ensure follow up through to resolution.
