HRMS Specialist

JOB OVERVIEW
The HRMS Specialist will own and manage the technical configuration, permissions, workflows, and system logic of the HRMS platform, ensuring a secure, scalable, and well-governed system design. This role will act as the subject matter expert for HRMS configuration and integrations, supporting smooth HR operations through robust system architecture and technical governance.
ABOUT THE ROLE

Own end-to-end HRMS configuration including core HR setup, organisational structures, absence management, workflows, roles, permissions, and access levels (BambooHR).

• Design, configure, and maintain secure role-based access controls and permission frameworks.
• Manage and resolve complex access-related issues and escalations.
• Troubleshoot system logic, workflows, permissions, and configuration-related issues.
• Manage and support API-based integrations between HRMS and other systems such as Payroll, ATS, LMS, Finance, and Ticketing platforms.
• Support SSO setup and authentication flows in collaboration with IT and vendors.
• Participate in HRMS implementations, system upgrades, UAT, and enhancement initiatives.
• Define and maintain HRMS data accuracy, governance standards, and system controls.
• Own technical documentation, configuration guides, system setup documentation, and process flows.
• Support audits, data readiness activities, system migrations, and compliance-related requirements.
• Contribute to HRMS-related administrative projects and system improvement initiatives.
• Act as backup support for reporting requirements and ticket escalations when needed.
• Cross-train team members on HRMS access management and workflow fundamentals.

• 4–6 years of experience in HRMS or HR Technology roles with strong hands-on system configuration exposure.
• Experience working with HRMS platforms such as BambooHR (preferred) or similar systems.
• Strong understanding of APIs, XML/JSON, and basic SSO concepts.
• Proven experience configuring workflows, permissions, roles, and system logic.
• Ability to bridge technical concepts with HR operations (semi-technical but HR-fluent).
