For our HRL department we are looking for: HRL JOINTER
Our High-Voltage Research Laboratory (HRL) is engaged in organizing and carrying out tests, mainly on high-voltage cables and sub-components thereof. The department is concentrated on bringing in the most innovative solutions to the market to serve the needs of the customer. Most importantly, the team is friendly and supportive.
In a nutshell
The HRL jointer is responsible for the assembly of test set-ups in the HRL. In addition, the HRL jointer supports the HRL coordinator and the HRL (test) engineers with delegated tasks, including, but not limited to: the management, maintenance, inspection of tools and management of the grabbing/working stock and consumables. Internal and/or external customers may be present during test work: the HRL jointer comes across as professional and accurate. The HRL jointer is a team player and has a flexible attitude. The HRL jointer is safety-conscious and strives to continuously improve the quality and efficiency of assembly work. The HRL jointer reports to the HRL coordinator.
Tasks and responsibilities
The HRL jointer's duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Carrying out the assemblies and repairs as part of a team and/or external contractors
- Checking the tools assigned to the HRL jointer and the components to be assembled before starting assembly and using them carefully
- Checking that all relevant regulations, instructions, drawings and technical specifications are in place prior to the start of assembly
- Immediately reporting incompleteness, defects and/or deviations to tools, cables and fittings or the inability to meet quality and safety requirements
- Recording the assembly data correctly and completely and passing it on to the HRL coordinator for processing in a timely manner
- Proactively ensuring order and cleanliness of the working environment, including, but not limited to, the separate collection and disposal of assembly waste
- Following trainings and obtaining certifications with the aim of keeping up-to-date the necessary professional knowledge and safety knowledge
- Performing tasks delegated by the HRL coordinator and/or the HRL (test) engineers
Competences
The HRL jointer has the following competencies / certifications:
- Good knowledge of Dutch or English
- Minimum required education level: professional school
- In possession of or willing to obtain: forklift driver's license, first aid certification and other safety certifications
- Careful and professional in her/his attitude
