The HRIS Specialist is a multifaceted role that supports the Human Resources department at First Commonwealth, which includes Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), Talent & Compensation and Benefits & Payroll. They interact with employees at various levels across the HR department and organization in order to support these functions. The HRIS Specialist is responsible for monitoring workflow notifications and making necessary HR system updates on a daily basis and generating, validating and distributing weekly, monthly and quarterly reports. They audit new hire and termination documentation and assist with audit requests. They administer the system-based onboarding process for new hires, uploads, monitor and track documentation, maintain searchable knowledgebase and provide end-user support for the HR Service Delivery system, and assist verifying and maintaining the integrity of data entered into HR systems, all with the highest degree of confidentiality. In addition, the HRIS Specialist acts as the supply coordinator for the HR department, provides administrative support to HR management and supports various projects as needed. They provide exceptional customer service to internal and external clients.
Essential Job Responsibilities__________________________________
1. Monitors workflow notifications daily for data integrity, structure, location and security changes, etc., and updates the HR system accordingly.
2. Acts as Onboarding Administrator and processes new hires in HR systems including tracking, completing I-9s using E-Verify and auditing I-9 forms and sending HR system login credentials/instructions to all new employees.
3. Generates, validates and distributes weekly, monthly and quarterly reports.
4. Provides ongoing support to end-users with the highest level of customer service and performs basic troubleshooting of system items/issues for users and HR/Admins.
5. Verifies and maintains the integrity of data entered in the HR systems with the highest degree of confidentiality.
6. Acts as Performance Management Administrator and assists with monitoring/maintaining outstanding reviews related to employee changes, assigns goals to new hires within FSN, and supports end-users.
7. Tracks and maintains all Telecommuting documents, updates HR system setup for all configuration fields and updates data on employee profiles.
8. Assists with HR system security, configuration and reports for department restructuring projects.
9. Assists with internal/external HR Audit requests and Compliance Exams.
10. Uses charting software to create and modify organizational charts for Board Meetings and special requests.
11. Uploads and maintains employee photos.
12. Uploads, monitors and tracks documentation, maintains searchable knowledgebase and provides end-user support for the HR Service Delivery system.
13. Assists with testing, configuring and developing new system features/functionality, working through challenges/resolve issues, to maximize system usage and supporting process improvements, efficiencies and mitigating risk related to HR Technology.
14. Creates and maintains HR systems procedures.
15. Run existing Cognos Business Intelligence reports to complete basic data requests.
16. Processes invoices through BankTel and maintains monthly tracking of HRIS expenses.
17. Acts as Supply Coordinator for all HR areas.
18. Provides administrative support to HR Managers and assists with meeting scheduling and note taking as needed.
Bona Fide Occupational Qualifications___________________________
1. An associate’s degree or equivalent work experience and a minimum of two (2) years of relevant work experience are required. A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field and previous Human Capital Management (HCM) system (use of UKGPro a plus) and reporting experience, preferred.
2. Above average analytical and problem solving skills are critical, as are grammatical skills and the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Acute attention to detail is a must. Exceptional client support and customer service skills are required.
3. Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.
4. Extensive training on UKGPro software is required; training is primarily virtual but could require attendance at a Training Facility (air travel may be required).
5. A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel regionally, on occasion, are necessary.

Skills Required
