He/ She will interact with all levels of the enterprise to include but not limited to other People and cross functional departments and teams to implement, support, and maintain People systems data. This role will also serve as one of the primary contacts for scheduled reports, data auditing, ad-hoc requests and projects and overall support related to People systems data.
This position is primarily remote; however, candidates must be able to work from the Plano office as needed.
Duties and responsibilities, as they align to Ryan’s Key Results
People:
- Create a positive team experience.
- Manages People Group and Vendor relationships.
Client:
- Collaborate with HRIS team to support workload, ensuring high impact and high priority issues are handled in a timely manner.
- Troubleshoot customer and system issues including error messages, log-in difficulties, access denials, data issues, and process in HR Systems. Troubleshoot system errors, both back-end and front-end. (Comprising at least 30% of daily job tasks.)
- Administer and support other systems managed by HRIS team. This will include supporting internal client requests, systems release and updates and working with vendors as needed on support and update tasks.
- Ability to review new project requests and gather requirements
- Assist with ticketing system and completion of requests with proper follow up.
- Provide support for trouble shooting People system issues and coordinate with the cross functional SMEs.
- Must demonstrate exceptional organizational and analytical skills, close attention to detail, and strong problem-solving skills to determine root causes of technical problems with the ability to document effectively, escalate appropriately, and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Value:
- Maintain data integrity in all People systems by writing and running reports, analyzing data, set-up/loading EIBs and processing appropriate changes.
- Review and manage Workday system data change requests through the Workday HR mailbox and process corrections within the HCM system. Explain reasoning behind processes performed by users to help their understanding.
- Maintain and support Workday enterprise-wide account security, organizational structures, business processes, tasks, notifications, system enhancements and provide data entry support.
- Set-up and modify Workday configuration as-needed or requested; audit system configuration and processes.
- Be able to come up with one or more solutions to meet the new requirement/project need, and design and configure solutions to meet the need
- Identify opportunities to reduce cycle times and increase reporting efficiencies.
- Must be able to clearly articulate technical procedures in written documents and provide clear verbal explanation of procedures and end-user documentation.
- Must be flexible to business needs, sometimes working overtime and occasional weekends to complete special projects.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in a business curriculum required; Human Resources, Data Analytics, or MIS is preferred
- 3-5 years of experience in human resources operations and/or program or project management
- 1-2 years in Workday configuration experience in one or more modules, Core HCM, Recruiting, Compensation, Time Tracking, Benefits
- Ability to research solutions and recommend the best scalable solution
- Curiosity, learning mindset, analytical and system design skills
- Proven ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively both within the People Group and across the enterprise with various stakeholders. Experience in using analytics and tools that evaluate workforce metrics
- Proven success in process analysis and optimization initiatives, including project management and governance
- Innovative and creative, combined with the ability to execute solutions in a results-oriented environment
- Must be a self-starter; ability to work independently and multi-task in a dynamic environment, managing multiple deadlines and priorities on a large capacity and global scale
- Handles and safeguards confidential information and sensitive material
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have advanced knowledge of Microsoft PowerBI, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook tech-savvy, and Internet navigation and research. Knowledge of Workday HR and Workday Adaptive is preferred.
Certificates and Licenses:
Valid driver’s license required.
