The HRIS Analyst assists the HRIS Administrator in the management of Human Resource Information Systems to provide support to end users on the day-to-day functionality of the systems.
This position can be 100% remote but would require a minimum of quarterly paid travel to Headquarters in Columbia MO.

The Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) Analyst will support and maintain the organization’s HRIS applications and modules. This position also serves as a technical point-of-contact for the assigned functional area and assists subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities.
Primary Responsibilities
- Maintain set up configuration in accordance with business system needs for the assigned HR Information Systems, and/or modules within systems and a deep understanding of functional areas such as Human Capital Management, Time, Absence and Benefits.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of the assigned system(s) and understand functional gaps.
- Maintain knowledge of future system upgrades/releases and assess impact on current processes.
- As directed, lead the implementation, upgrade, and daily maintenance of functionality within assigned systems including creating timelines and working in conjunction with functional end users as needed to ensure tasks are completed.
- Solicit feedback from end users on system functionality. Research if end user concerns can be addressed with modification to existing system functionality.
- Prepare modification specifications for approval by the HRIS Administrator. Provide ongoing support to end users during implementation and maintenance of new functionalities to include addressing training needs and troubleshooting.
- Document resolutions.
- Serve as liaison between EquipmentShare and HRIS vendors or consultants.
- Suggest business process changes to maximize value received from HRIS systems and minimize manual work outside the systems. Work with business process owners and Learning and Development team to document proposed and approved processes.
- Assist in the identification of reporting needs of end users. May create or assist in creation of reports.
- Develop testing scenarios and perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of assigned systems in advance of scheduled releases and updates.
- Identify communication needs based on changes to systems/operating procedures and work with the HRIS Administrator to develop and execute the communication plan.

Skills & Qualifications
- We’re looking for an HRIS Analyst who is motivated to learn and has a positive attitude toward a growing business and technology infrastructure.
- You do well in fast-moving work environments and are a team player through and through.
- You are able to work independently and handle situations that involve multi-tasking and changing priorities.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Education and Experience
- A bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, information systems or equivalent expertise in a business environment.
- At least three years of experience working with HR Information Systems and a good understanding of how data is stored and flows across modules.
- Preferred - Recent experience with an enterprise-level HRIS (Workday) and applicant tracking systems (Greenhouse, iCims, Taleo, etc.)
- Solid knowledge of HR business processes
