Your Role

The Information Systems team is looking for an experienced Workday HRIS Analyst to continue to grow the Workday platform into a world class solution, with a primary focus on supporting all aspects of an employee’s lifecycle with the firm. This position will be an integral part of the HRIS Team, working on design and maintenance of the system.  You will collaborate with Human Resources, Finance and other stakeholders across the firm. Our current Workday landscape includes Core HCM, Benefits, Time Tracking, Recruiting, Performance and Development, Learning and Absence Management.

What You Will Do

Serve as subject matter expert for the Workday Platform.  Specialized knowledge in following areas is desired: Core HCM, Talent Strategies and Learning

  • Help improve and optimize the full potential of Workday by providing expert advice and solutions to complex business problems.

  • Assist in developing and implementing processes to streamline and automate workflows.

  • Collaborate with HR Leadership and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into system configurations and enhancements

  • Create and manage processes to support self-service and HR data entry to preserve integrity and accuracy.

  • Provide application support for daily operations and maintenance

  • Support special projects and perform other related duties and projects as assigned.

  • Perform audits of data to preserve its integrity and accuracy. Regularly review user procedures/workflow to ensure system features are being fully utilized. Identify features that may improve efficiency.

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or Business Administration or 5-8 years of experience in related field.

  • 5+ years of HRIS experience, specifically with Workday platform, with exposure to HR technology across multiple HR functions (HCM, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, Performance Management, Absence Mgmt and Learning).

  • Proven expertise in International setup and configuration

  • Possesses a strong work ethic for working with confidential information.

  • Experience working with integrations and 3rd party vendors

  • Excellent problem solving and multi-tasking skills required

  • Must be a self-starter, take initiative, and work effectively within a team

  • Must be detail orientated and able to meet deadlines

  • Excellent communication skills required, both verbal and written

  • Exceptional customer service skills

  • Certification in Workday Pro required or experience equivalent

**This position will be based on-site 5 days a week in Gensler's Oakland, CA office**

***The base salary is estimated between $115k-$125k plus bonuses and benefits and contingent on relevant experience***
