Charter Manufacturing is hiring an HRIS Analyst to support our UKG Technology team!
This is an opportunity for a curious, service-minded HRIS professional who enjoys solving problems, understanding how processes work, and helping people use technology more effectively. You will join a collaborative HRIS team that is continuing to expand and optimize its UKG capabilities and learning together as the platform evolves.
We are looking for someone who brings a strong UKG foundation, asks thoughtful questions, enjoys troubleshooting, and is motivated to develop deeper configuration and technical expertise.
Job Summary:
Perform system oversight of current Human Capital Management (HCM) applications. Oversee existing HRIS set-up and workflow design while implementing additional capability regarding HR business processes/needs. Investigate, modify, and implement additional capabilities. Work closely with Human Resources to understand business requirements and ensure that existing workflows and set-up meet business needs across the HR organization.
Role Summary and Impact:
As an HRIS Analyst, you will serve as a front-line partner to HR users and business stakeholders, helping them resolve system issues, improve processes, and make the most of our UKG platform.
You will troubleshoot break/fix issues, support system testing and release activities, contribute to large enhancements and HR projects, and create clear documentation that helps end users successfully navigate the system. You will work across Time and Attendance,

Schedule: Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days remote)
Travel: Up to 5%

Key responsibilities:
Manage system administration including security structure, business process configuration, and ongoing inbound and outbound integrations.
Oversee regression testing and roll-out of future releases.
Lead research, design, configuration, and testing of new system solutions.
Think critically as an HR practitioner and technical resource to balance practical HR application with system functionality. Translate high-level HR business requirements into functional specifications for HR system development and manage changes to such specifications.
Participate in related core system/function projects that overlap with HR system functionality.
Serve as primary liaison to HR system vendor(s) to understand technology capabilities and recommend solutions that address business needs.
Provide day-to-day end-user support (primarily to the HR function), including troubleshooting and resolution of all requests and issues.
Design and implement custom reporting/analytics and dashboards to align with HR strategy.
Identify and recommend opportunities for Continuous Improvement to maximize process and systems efficiencies. Proactively manage HR system foundational data and measure the quality of HR data used in analysis.
Responsible for effective communication through regular updates, user documentation, and ongoing training materials.
Train new HR team members on core HCM functionality.
Follow Environmental, Quality and Safety Management System procedures and requirements.

What you’ll need:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related degree.
Five plus years’ in HRIS oversight, configuration, and support.
Understanding of UKG functionality.
UKG experience in UKG Pro and Workforce Management Technologies (WFM).
Strong written and verbal communication skills that is adaptable to different audiences.
Ability to think analytically and troubleshoot basic to complex system functionality.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Products.

Quantitative data experience working with data visualization and HR analytics
Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and team skills.
Experience supporting an HRIS capacity within a manufacturing environment.
