Location: Hybrid Remote in Carmel, IN office

The HRIS Analyst will manage HR system configuration, design and support activities with a primary focus in one area such as Payroll, Absence, Time Tracking and Benefits. This role delivers system design and configuration to support the priorities laid out by the HR leadership and business unit leadership. This role will help to collaborate with the various HR functional leaders to assess needs and understand requirements, and deliver product enhancements to ensure those needs and requirements are met. This position will support continuous enhancements to Workday in line with the HR and company strategy.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Acts as Subject Matter Expert to support and drive Workday functionality. Perform configuration in Workday and understand cross-functional processes.
  • Execute planning and implementation of features to completion including requirements gathering, configuration, testing, and deployment activities.
  • Gain understanding of future system functionality by networking with users, leveraging Workday Community and User Groups.
  • Proactively develop relationships with internal partners to gain understanding of business requirements.
  • Help consult on best practices process and technology improvements to create innovative solutions.
  • Serve as a liaison with the various HR functional leaders and other stakeholder regarding process design, data integrity and security requirements.
  • Specific to Workday, manage Workday Releases, maintain and update the Workday Adoption Calendar, and drive functional implementation of new Workday features and functions as they are introduced.
  • Ensure HR systems internal governance structure is adhered to.
  • Support HR Systems platform optimization and new functionality adoption analysis.
  • Support functional reporting; advise on reporting strategies and toolsets, including HR Analytics and Dashboards
  • Develop user procedures and training documentation as needed. Facilitate global training in relation to HR systems.
  • Support M&A projects as needed

Minimum Requirements:

  • BS/BA preferred, preferably in Human Resources, Business or IT/Computer Science.
  • 3+ years in HR/Payroll experience with progressive responsibility in the HRIS / ERP function.
  • Experience with Workday required.
  • Proven analytical skills to understand complex system design and ability to troubleshoot issues.
  • Ability to identify trends and recommend new processes to standardize, where appropriate.
  • Ability to write, maintain and support a variety of reports or queries.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel with the ability to create formulas, charts, graphs and pivot tables.
  • Project/process management experience; ability to identify training needs and support change management
  • Detail-oriented with an unwavering commitment to pursue relevant and accurate data.
  • Results-oriented -- ability to handle multiple, time-sensitive projects while focusing on the quality of work delivered.
  • Ability to work well both independently and on a team in a deadline driven environment.
