Job brief
We are looking for an efficient Human Resources (HR) and Employee Relations (ER) Coordinator to undertake a variety of HR administrative duties. You will facilitate daily HR functions such as the full employee lifecycle. Your role, also, involves performing tasks with a focus to provide concise and accurate data and responses to all levels of the business.
The ideal candidate will have a broad knowledge of Human Resources as well as general administrative responsibilities, be able to work autonomously and within a team to efficiently ensure the end-to-end running of the HR operation from an administrative perspective.
Ultimately, you should be able to contribute to the attainment of specific goals and results of the HR department and the organisation.
Responsibilities
- Respond to internal and external HR related queries or requests and provide assistance
- Experience dealing with restructuring businesses from a people perspective
- Redirect HR related enquiries or distribute correspondence escalate where needed
- Dealing with all administrative actions and queries related to the full employee lifecycle from onboarding, changes, leavers and all family friendly leave requests
- Maintain records of personnel-related data on the database and ensure all employment requirements are met
- Liaise with other departments or functions, e.g. Payroll, benefits
- Support processes such as producing letters using mail merge, issuing letters, assisting in employee relations cases etc.
- Schedule meetings and maintain the team’s agenda
- Assist in ad-hoc HR projects, like collection of employee feedback, pay review, the benefit reviewal projects and TUPE
- Support other functions as assigned
- Running reports as and when required
- Adhering to GDPR guidelines at all times
- Review and update HR forms and policies as and when required
- Support on internal and external audits where required
Requirements and skills
- Proven experience as an HR coordinator or relevant human resources/administrative position
- Knowledge of human resources processes best practise
- Strong ability in using MS Office (MS Excel, MS Word, in particular)
- Experience with HR databases and HRIS systems
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle data with confidence
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
- Good organizational and time management skills
- CIPD certification is an advantage
- BSc/BA in Business Administration or relevant field; additional education in Human Resource Management will be a plus
