In three months, you will be:
Building open, transparent and positive relationships with colleagues throughout WPP Media.
Working to get the best from every member of the team.
Demonstrating good HR Business Partnering skills even when under considerable pressure.
Building a solid understanding of WPP Media transformational talent requirements as well as its initiatives and policies.
Giving clear, considered, and concise advice on HR issues and demonstrating strong stakeholder management skills across all levels of seniority.
In six months you will be:
Building trusted relationships with the agencies, having built credibility as a reliable, responsive, trusted advisor.
Thoroughly understanding the structure, roles and responsibilities within WPP Media and where they are best situated.
Translating business strategies and objectives into organization capability and talent requirements.
Responsibilities of the role
Managing key people processes such as Increment and bonus cycles, Internal mobility, Pay adjustment, Year-end process and calibration
Exit process and interview – Anchor resignation discussion and identify opportunities for regrettable exits
Advising managers on performance management, disciplinary actions, and addressing feedback
Conducting investigations into employee complaints, such as work conduct, policy violations, etc.
Guiding and supporting line manager on managing Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) process.
Support cross functional projects like All In Survey, Job Architecture, Salary benchmarking, Culture and Engagement programs
Partner on process excellence projects like Employee Handbook, Internal redeployment, etc
Collaborate with leadership on reviewing team structure, span of control and driving required recommendations
Lead staff redeployment by aligning business needs with employee skills and career goals to ensure optimal workforce utilization, business continuity, and talent retention.
Partner with the business and Talent Acquisition team on headcount submissions and approvals.
Review critical talent with business to prioritize for retention through various channels like adjustment, progression, recognition
Manage severance conversations and processes with compliance, fairness, and care
Skills and Experience
What you will need
8+ years of relevant HR experience with strong focus on HR business partnering.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to influence at all levels of an organization.
Project management skills in driving organizational change, along with a growth mindset
Demonstrated coaching, mentoring, counselling skills.
Ability to understand the business, the business challenges and be solutions focused.
Resilience to thrive in matrix, high paced environment where priorities are constantly shifting.
Ability to build pride across the group being the biggest and most agile network agency group.
Strong working knowledge of employment laws and compliance requirements in Thailand.
