Ferring+You

You will serve as the senior HR leader for Greater China (China, Hong Kong, Taiwan), shaping the strategic people agenda and advising executive stakeholders on the organisational, leadership, and talent priorities required to accelerate business performance, transformation, and long-term growth.

Reporting to the CEO for Ferring China and with a dotted line to the VP HRBP for Global Operations, you will lead a team of 4 direct reports and 4 matrix reports. You will be based in our head office in Shanghai.

Your day at Ferring

  • Set the strategic HR agenda for Greater China, ensuring the translation of global people priorities into an integrated regional roadmap that enables business performance, organisational effectiveness, and sustainable growth.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior business leaders and the Greater China leadership team on enterprise-critical matters including organisation design, transformation, succession, leadership capability, mobility, and total rewards.
  • Lead and inspire the HRBP team to deliver strategic partnership and operational excellence across Greater China.  
  • Steer strategic workforce planning, organisational investment, and people cost governance to ensure the region is equipped with the capabilities, structure, and capacity required to deliver against evolving business priorities.
  • Champion talent, culture, and engagement across the organisation by advancing leadership development, capability building, employee engagement, and communications agendas in close partnership with global and regional stakeholders.
  • Lead the people and culture dimension of strategic business development, integration, and transformation initiatives, including due diligence, synergy design, organisation integration, and change execution.

  • A strong strategic adviser with demonstrable impact across organisational design, workforce strategy, executive talent, and enterprise transformation.
  • Proven success leading broad HR portfolios and building high-performing teams that combine strategic insight with strong execution.
  • Strong commercial and organisational acumen, with the ability to align people strategy to business priorities and influence outcomes at senior leadership level.
  • An accomplished communicator and influencer with credibility, judgement, and presence in executive-level environments, fluent in Mandarin and English.  
  • Experience in pharmaceuticals, life sciences, healthcare, or another highly regulated sector is strongly preferred.
