Senior Manager, Learning & Training
The Addressable Solutions & Enablement team is responsible for driving addressable sales opportunities in the marketplace, focusing on audience, formats, and platforms, inclusive of Learning & Development initiatives across Disney Advertising Sales. The Learning & Development arm is tasked with providing an exceptional and thorough onboarding & training experience for the entire organization.
The Learning & Development team is looking for a Sr. Manager who has a passion for creating and executing learning and training opportunities. The Sr. Manager, Learning & Training will be responsible for partnering with stakeholders across the Disney Ad Sales team in order to elevate and drive our Learning & Training programs, with a specific focus grounded in foundational learning and ongoing training opportunities. This role reports to the Director of Learning and Development, and is also responsible for overseeing L&D Managers. The Sr. Manager will play a key role in developing and executing departmental plans that help drive our yearly curriculum build & deployment strategy. This role will also oversee the development, maintenance and strategic deployment of all of our training materials on our internal Ad Sales tools. The Senior Manager will play a key role in fostering our culture of learning by designing coursework and materials that support continuous learning opportunities for our entire sales organization, and will be responsible for leading and activating many live training sessions for teams across Disney Ad Sales.
This position may be located in New York, NY, Santa Monica, CA or Chicago, IL.
Responsibilities :
- Partner with assorted executive stakeholders across Disney Ad Sales to develop curriculum for the year (largely online-driven)
- Assess individual, team, and organization learning needs & develop impactful & scalable implementation plan
- Oversee Learning & Development team, who leads content creation & deployment across the organization
- Apply data-driven approach to consistently & constantly improve L&D team offerings, and ensure consistency and relevancy to our business.
Basic Qualifications :
- 10+ years developing and leading training efforts with direct experience in program facilitation, program development and consulting.
- Understanding of Multi-Brand Media Organizations; understanding of Disney’s brands and structure a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships across diverse range of stakeholders (Entry-level through Executive level)
- Deep knowledge of relevant content areas, including the fields of Advertising Sales, management/leadership, and organizational development
- Able to identify and solve complex organizational and operational problems
- Strong facilitation and program delivery skills
- Superior written & verbal communication skills
- Thrive in a fast-paced production environment with a passion for solving problems while being resourceful
- Experience presenting to Executive Management level
- Ability to drive projects independently, as well as project manage a team
- Top organizational skills, able to prioritize multiple projects
