Could this be you?

As an integral member of the VillageMD Talent Development team, you will enable our ability to plan and design talent programs and support learning initiatives across the organization. Reporting to the Director, Talent Development, you will work with and across our other talent teams (people operations, total rewards, DEI) to support the coordination and alignment of talent and organizational development programs. In this role, you will have the opportunity to help build the foundation for our talent philosophy and review approach, support ongoing advancement of employee engagement, and learn more about our HR operating model as you grow your career.

How you can make a difference

  • Supporting and coordinating the development and execution of our talent philosophy and review approach for 2022 and beyond
  • Coordinating key components of our people manager development strategy to support seamless execution
  • Researching and collaborating across the team to aid in the build out of inaugural leadership development programming for our executive leaders
  • Ensuring our ability to support and rollout continuous employee engagement programming and initiatives
  • Designing and delivering high quality deliverables in support of talent initiatives
  • Assist in other talent development initiatives as needed

Skills for success

  • Detail oriented and manages multiple competing priorities and projects with ease
  • Interpersonal skills and the ability to anticipate needs will be integral to success in this role
  • Aptitude for public speaking with a comfortability and interest in leading employee training as needed
  • Ability to navigate within ambiguity, a service orientation, and a high level of humility are all requirements for successful assimilation into our highly collaborative, entrepreneurial culture
  • Flexibility and the desire to be a key contributor to an energetic and passionate team
  • Resilient and committed to moving required work forward despite challenges, roadblocks, and shifts in priorities

Experience to drive change

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 2+ years of experience in talent development, talent management, HR or related field required
  • Experience in a high-growth company or employee focused organization preferred
  • Demonstrated ability and track-record of supporting and enabling key talent programs in an organization
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Suite
  • Experience in preparing creative leader and employee-facing content, deliverables, and communications in support of advancing talent initiatives throughout the organization
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and the ability to multi-task and deliver quality outcomes while effectively managing multiple competing priorities
