JOB SUMMARY
The HR Technology Analyst provides primary support to development, maintenance and upgrades of HR Systems (e.g. PeopleSoft HRMS, PeopleSoft CRM, BrassRing, CornerStone on Demand, Visier, etc.). This is accomplished by gathering requirements, conducting analysis, modifying configuration tables and coordinating with various internal and external customers. The HR Technology Analyst is responsible for supporting security in various HR applications, performing regular application security audit reviews and maintaining relationships with audit teams - internal and external. This position supports other HR applications, as additional resources may be required.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide functional and systems assistance for HR Technology applications
Create standard functional specifications for production support development and act as a testing resource for production support maintenance requests and issues that arise for HR Systems application security
Partner with and advise the development team on security related issues and potential solutions
Responsible for creating and executing test scripts to resolve production issues
Serve as an escalation point for advanced system/technology issues to determine root cause analysis, identifies and implements potential solutions for PS CRM and application security
Serve as a HR Functional Team Subject Matter Expert providing knowledge regarding HR Systems application security
Provide ad-hoc report assistance using query tool and SQL to assist HR Technology leaders, auditors and end users for requests relating to HR Systems
May be responsible for administering security for PeopleSoft HRMS, CRM, OBS, BrassRing, Visier and RMS by approving security requests, setting up new users, and answering security-related questions
May be responsible for analyzing security mass change requests, identifying and modifying configuration tables, communicating impacts to HR Business Partners, and partnering with various teams to determine a project timeline
May be responsible for configuring security module tables to meet user requests or organizational changes
Participate as a systems testing resource as needed for various HR Technology projects
Perform other related duties as assigned by management
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Required Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
Understanding and demonstrated application of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and project methodology
HR Systems experience (e.g. PeopleSoft HRMS 9.1 or higher, PeopleSoft Customer Relationship Management, Cornerstone on Demand, Visier, BrassRing, etc.)
HR Systems query tool and SQL experience
Ability to adhere to established processing timeframes and make decisions independently
Experience in data mining and analysis
Experience in continuous process improvement, including technology upgrades and implementation
Demonstrated analytical capacity and communication skills
Ability to effectively interact, partner and influence staff in various levels of the organization
HR Technology Help Desk knowledge / experience
Proven organizational skills and orientation to detail
Customer service orientation
Strategic thinking skills with demonstrated experience developing and implementing solutions to issues
Demonstrated facilitator, skilled at leading projects and initiatives
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Required Education
Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent years of experience
