HR Employee Services Consultant
The Opportunity

The Team
The HR Employee Concierge team supports our employees through their employment life cycle. This team is responsible for payroll processing, benefit and leave administration, and tax withholding and reporting. This team works collaboratively to achieve results, demonstrating agility, courage, and resilience in their day to day partnership.
The Impact:
Your day to day would include but is not limited to:
Preparing and auditing payroll transactions such as, but not limited to, wage garnishments, tax withholding information, deductions, pay calculations, off-cycle requests, retroactive transactions, prior to processing each payroll cycle while ensuring compliance with Federal and State regulations for multi-state payrolls
Investigating and resolving employee payroll related issues and inquiries
Partnering with Payroll tax team on special projects or initiatives
Participating in internal control testing and compliance as well as interact with auditors for the purpose of providing supporting documentation and/or information on internal process that is required for audit
Resolving escalations, by providing root cause analysis and corrective action for all complex or non-routine situations for all levels of employees and management
Assisting with the design of system implementations, testing, and upgrades, as needed, while staying current with Workday functionality
Understanding internal controls for the payroll function and proactively work with management to identify efficiency improvements and gaps
Supporting tax considerations for employees with ex patriot assignments, coordinating individual's tax issues pertinent to payroll and liaising with outside tax advisors regarding the individual's program
The Minimum Qualifications
A minimum of 8 years of in-sourced payroll experience and/or working in a hands-on payroll environment with knowledge of payroll practices
Expert knowledge of US tax payroll regulations and reporting requirements, including current federal and multi-state payroll tax experience
Subject matter expert on compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices
Continuous improvement experience in payroll processes, directing changes and internal controls
Ability to prioritize tasks/responsibilities, meet deadlines and thrive under the pressure of time constraints while maintaining accuracy and focus
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Teams
The Ideal Qualifications
10 years of in-sourced payroll experience and/or working in a hands-on payroll environment with knowledge of payroll practices
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or related major
Experience working with Workday
Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
