Overview: The HR Technology Analyst is responsible for configuring, maintaining and troubleshooting HR systems and integrations. This role is a resource to support stakeholders and users of the HR systems, including educating employees about use of the software, responding to inquiries, performing analysis and fulfillment of reporting needs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- The HR Technology Analyst will partner with the functional areas of HR and other internal stakeholders in the operation, administration, maintenance, maximization, and overall effectiveness of HR systems
- The position will partner with various HR teams and business stakeholders to plan, analyze, and prioritize business process needs
- They will fulfill data requests and ensure all system configuration is successfully set up and maintained
- Key to this role's success towards all HR systems is providing recommendations for system and process improvements to manage data, facilitate workflow in applications, improve efficiency, analyze data, troubleshoot, and utilize technology to meet current and future needs
- Manages day to day activities associated with implementation/enhancement and issue resolution of HR technology solutions
- Provide end user support and maintenance of HR's technology systems
- Assists with improving HR operational processes, including making decisions that optimize the management of HR data across the organization, implementing new HR modules, and maintaining optimal functionality of HR systems
- Coordinates system setup, changes, and configuration with software vendors, as needed
- Manages, troubleshoots, and resolves system issues
- Collaborates with HR, IT, and other internal stakeholders to address system errors
- Leads mid-sized to large HR Technology projects including gathering requirements, system design, and implementing the final solution
- Builds relationships with vendors to ensure service performance and continuous improvements in processes
- Manages new and existing interfaces and data transfers to and from internal and external systems
- Assists with process for regular maintenance and audits to monitor/ensure the accuracy and integrity of data entered and maintained within the systems
- Researches data inconsistencies and shares with appropriate teams for updating
- Defines and manages all HR system user accounts, including all data migration from HR systems
- Establishes testing protocols, publishing requirements and maintenance procedures for HR system upgrades
- Creates documentation for end-user training to ensure the effective utilization of HR systems
- Assists with rollout and communications related to new modules and initiatives
- Keeps abreast of professional development events, seminars, and webinars to stay current in the latest regulatory and technology advances
- Conduct system audits to guarantee data integrity;
- Maintain compliance with Inovalon’s policies, procedures and mission statement;
- Adhere to all confidentiality and HIPAA requirements as outlined within Inovalon’s Operating Policies and Procedures in all ways and at all times with respect to any aspect of the data handled or services rendered in the undertaking of the position; and
- Fulfill those responsibilities and/or duties that may be reasonably provided by Inovalon for the purpose of achieving operational and financial success of the Employer.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of HCM system administration experience required including configuration, development, implementation, optimization, integration, and project management; key areas of focus – Oracle HCM Cloud HR (Recruit to Retire), Position Management, Absence Management, Time and Labor, Talent Suite (Goals, Performance, Talent Review, Succession Planning), Compensation, HCM Extracts, Workforce Planning/Modeling, Security
- Knowledge of HR functional areas including but not limited to - Recruiting, HR Lifecycle, Total Rewards, Talent and Payroll processes preferred
- Minimum of 1 full life cycle implementation
- Hands on experience with HCM data loader (HDL)
- Experience in requirements gathering, fit gap analysis, design, test case creation required;
- Analyze, design and/or develop best practice business needs through technology solutions.
- Experience in production support to include monitoring troubleshooting and documentation and training
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail;
- Team player supporting the HR department as well as internal clients;
- Self-starter who can work independently as well as in a team setting;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products;
- Knowledge of SQL;
- Excellent planning and organizational skills;
- Demonstrated customer service skills; and
- Excellent written, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Sedentary work (i.e. sitting for long periods of time);
- Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force;
- Frequently or constantly to lift, carry push, pull or otherwise move objects and repetitive motions;
- Subject to inside environmental conditions; and
- Travel for this position will include less than 5% locally usually for training purposes.
