HR Technology Analyst – Workday
What You Will Do
As an HR Technology Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting Workday organizational structure maintenance, HR data governance, and system operations across the organization. You will serve as a strategic partner to HR Centers of Excellence, HR Business Partners, Finance, and business leaders by translating business requirements into effective Workday solutions that support operational efficiency and workforce management.
Demonstrating Workday expertise, the HR Technology team partners with HR stakeholders to answer system functionality questions, resolve issues, maintain organizational structures, and ensure data integrity. The Analyst will play a critical role in maintaining Workday organizational data, including supervisory organizations, cost centers, locations, and related business structures while supporting key HR processes and organizational changes.
How You Will Do It
Configure and maintain Workday organizational structures, including Supervisory Organizations, Cost Centers, Companies, Locations, Business Sites, and Custom Organizations.
Manage organizational changes resulting from restructures, acquisitions, divestitures, leadership transitions, and workforce planning initiatives.
Partner with HR, Finance, Payroll, and business leaders to ensure organizational data is accurate, compliant, and aligned with business requirements.
Maintain organizational hierarchies and support governance processes related to workforce structure and management.
Analyze and validate organizational data to ensure consistency and integrity across Workday.
Support HR business processes that rely on accurate organizational assignments and structure maintenance.
Serve as a subject matter expert for Workday organizational management functionality and related business processes.
Troubleshoot and resolve system issues related to organizational structures, staffing models, and worker assignments.
Lead testing efforts for Workday releases and enhancements, validating organizational structures, security access, and business process functionality.
Support security administration to ensure appropriate access to organizational and workforce data.
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process standardization, automation, and continuous improvement.
Create and maintain process documentation, governance procedures, and end-user training materials.
Participate in Workday enhancement projects, including organizational redesign initiatives and process improvements.
Support audits, compliance activities, and data governance initiatives through accurate maintenance of organizational structures.
What We Look For
Required
Degree in Business, Human Resources, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Experience working with Human Capital Management systems, preferably Workday.
Strong experience supporting and maintaining organizational structures within Workday.
Knowledge of workforce structures, organizational design, and HR operational processes.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into system solutions.
Experience partnering with HR, Finance, and business stakeholders.
