HR Assistant

Arizona’s first and only autism-focused charter school is seeking an HR Assistant with outstanding communication and administrative skills to help the Talent Management Team with growth and expansion. 

Responsibilities::

  • Assist in the hiring process of employees, including completing phone screens, scheduling interviews, verifying work history and references, and tracking candidates in the applicant tracking system. 
  • Help with new hire on-boarding procedures including scheduling and assisting with employee orientation, ensuring hiring documents are collected and filed properly.
  • Audit employee files quarterly to maintain compliance.
  • Provide information and assist employees with HR related needs and questions. 
  • Organize, compile, update employee records and documentation as needed.
  • Support the Human Resources/Talent Management department with any additional administrative needs.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of HR experience
  • Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook proficiency
  • Google G-Suite experience
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality 
  • Strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills 
  • Recruiting experience preferred

Required:

  • Arizona IVP Fingerprint clearance card
  • High School diploma or equivalent

ADA AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

Positions in this class require:  sitting, stooping, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions.

Physical Requirements: 

Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally.

Working Conditions:  

Work is routinely performed in an indoor office environment.
