Role Overview
The Talent Acquisition Associate supports the Human Resources department in carrying out programs and procedures for all Rising Ground employees, including sourcing and screening candidates, conducting interviews, managing onboarding, responding to employee requests and questions, maintaining ATS and HRIS databases and personnel files, and supporting compliance and internal controls. As part of our People team, you’ll help us attract, hire, and retain the talent we need to achieve our vision.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Sourcing
- Source, screen, interview, and support the onboarding of qualified candidates for entry-level roles across multiple departments.
- Use diverse recruitment strategies, including job boards, social media, networking, hiring events, and partnerships with community resources such as Workforce1.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates to support current and future hiring needs.
- Coordinate and participate in job fairs, career events, and other talent acquisition initiatives to promote organizational visibility and attract top talent.
Onboarding & Candidate Experience
- Deliver a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment and onboarding process, from initial outreach through orientation.
- Facilitate onboarding activities for new hires, transfers, and temporary staff to ensure a smooth transition into the organization.
Collaboration with Hiring Managers
- Partner with program leaders and hiring managers to develop job descriptions, job postings, and recruitment strategies aligned with organizational needs.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or Communications.
- Minimum of 2–5 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, Recruiting, or Human Resources.
- Experience participating in recruitment projects.
- Proficiency in business software, including Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), Google Apps, Microsoft Office Suite, and HRIS platforms (ADP Workforce Now a plus), or the ability to learn them.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance and best practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills to resolve issues and troubleshoot as needed.
- Ability to stay focused and meet project deadlines.
- Excellent time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks at once.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Sound discretion in handling highly confidential and sensitive information.
- Adaptable and a quick learner, with an aptitude for technology and a strong customer service attitude.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time hybrid position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm.
