Let’s start with the role

The HR Systems Manager will be responsible for leading and managing the implementation, integration, and ongoing optimization of HR systems and technology solutions. Additionally, the role will be responsible for the guidance, development, and coaching of the Systems & Data team. Both responsibilities will ensure alignment with organizational and HR goals. The HR System Manager requires a blend of technical acumen, project management skills, HR understanding and stakeholder management. 

As an HR Systems Manager you will:

  • Oversee the selection and implementation of HR technology solutions.
  • Ensure data migration, system configuration, and integration with existing systems are performed in a timely and quality manner.
  • Develop and execute change management plans to ensure successful user adoption.
  • Own the full PM cycle for the systems’ implementation.
  • Manage project risks, ensuring timely resolution. 
  • Prioritize the team’s backlog and act as the gatekeeper of projects.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for any HR systems project. 
  • Conduct stakeholder needs assessment, coordinate cross-functional teams, and gather feedback to identify enhancement & process improvements.
  • Communicate project status and milestones to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal & external teams to ensure system security and data integrity.
  • Ensure HR systems comply with data privacy and organisational policies.
  • Implement and monitor security protocols to protect HR data.
  • Create team’s performance metrics and ensure KPI achievement.
  • Lead, motivate and grow the team by setting clear goals, assessing their training needs and creating the right opportunities.
  • Provide mentoring and coaching.

What you’ll bring:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR System Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in collaborating with internal (HR) and external (business and vendors) stakeholders to identify needs, translate them into HR Systems actions and provide updates.This role involves managing the team's work to ensure timely and high-quality task completion, fostering individual growth, and overseeing project management of all ongoing HR systems, including removing any blockers.

We expect you to have:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer science, Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field;
  • Experience in project management, with a focus on HR systems implementation;
  • Experience in technical projects;
  • Experience in change management and user training;
  • Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines;
  • Experience in managing a team;
  • Proficiency in HR and PM systems (e.g., Bob, Leapsome, Jira, etc);
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills;
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams;
  • Understanding of technology language and applications;
  • Fluency in English, both oral and written.
