Kaeppel Consulting is in immediate need of an HR Support Specialist to support the HR department of one of our preferred clients. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team. This position provides administrative and clerical support across various HR functions while delivering exceptional customer service to employees and agents. The ideal candidate is professional, maintains the highest level of confidentiality, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys supporting a collaborative team. Attention to detail is imperative.
This position is 100% onsite in Erie, PA. Remote or hybrid work is not available at this time.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support for assigned Human Resources functions.
- Respond to routine questions regarding HR programs, policies, and procedures.
- Serve as a liaison between employees, agents, vendors, and outside organizations to help resolve routine issues.
- Assist with tracking employee and vendor requests, escalating more complex matters to senior HR staff or management.
- Review HR documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Enter, update, and maintain employee information within HR and vendor systems.
- Prepare, organize, and maintain confidential employee records and files.
- Learn and utilize HR systems and technology to support department operations.
- Assist with system testing and other HR projects as needed.
- Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining professionalism and discretion.
Qualifications
- Previous administrative, customer service, or office support experience preferred.
- Human Resources experience is not required; however, candidates must demonstrate professionalism, sound judgment, and the ability to handle highly confidential information with discretion.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities and adapting to changing business needs.
- Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate and work effectively as part of a team.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Microsoft Teams, OneNote, and scheduling tools is strongly preferred.
- Ability to learn new systems and technologies quickly.
